||Beginning Aug. 2017
||I graduated from Penn State University in 2012 from the Smeal College of Business. Shortly after, I worked for an LED lighting start up for 3 years but always had a desire to travel/immerse myself in a new culture. I made the jump to teach abroad in Thailand in February 2016 which I began by volunteering at a local school and doing a homestay. After that I was hired by a Thai school called Phol Wittaya School for a year contract, which I’m currently finishing out. At that school some of my accomplishments have been recreating the curriculum for my high school class, organizing the first foreigner volunteer project and being adaptable to whatever classes the school needed me to teach (high school to kindergartner). I’m a very goal orientated person and when I put my mind to something I work hard to achieve it. Outside of work, I’ve ran two marathons (Philadelphia, PA and Mount Desert Island, Maine) and have studied abroad in New Zealand. I’m a very open minded person who is eager to begin teaching in Korea.
