I currently work as a UK academic support tutor and am committed to continuing my professional development as a teacher. I take enormous pride in supporting individual learners to achieve their goals and develop their language skills. I would love the opportunity to build my experience as an EFL teacher within a supportive team where my teaching practice can be continually refined and improved.
I would be excited by the opportunity to take part in and contribute to South Korean public education. I would truly love to see how another nation teaches and supports its young people. I have a deep fascination with Korean culture and it language. As a trained sculptor and ceramicist I have a great appreciation for Korean ceramic history. I also have a keen interest in the linguistic structure of Korean as an isolate language with no genetic relation to other languages. It is this unique quality to Korean culture that attracts me to work and live there. I believe I would integrate into life in South Korea comfortably should I be offered a position.
